Let’s face it, nobody makes smart decisions when they’re tired and run down.

Staying refreshed and rested is crucial for your emotional and financial health. Not convinced? There’s plenty of evidence that shows most people could do with a break.

People in Mexico, South Korea and Chile are among the hardest workers in the world, according to data compiled by the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development in 2012. The OECD tracks various data for about 34 countries.

In the UK, 40% of employees say they are are working harder than they did a year ago and 53% admit they have to do the job of more than one person (…).
